2024 Brezza CNG In A Walkaround Video

Maruti launched the facelifted Brezza in 2022 to compete in the sub-4m SUV segment, which includes rivals such as Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and XUV 300. Earlier, we have covered the base Lxi CNG variant of the Brezza. Today, we will discuss about the Vxi CNG variant which is one above base.

The YouTube video is uploaded by MRD cars on YouTube which shows us the Vxi variant of the SUV. The host starts with the key of the car, which is a typical Maruti key with lock/unlock buttons. Starting with the front, the grille comes with chrome elements.

All the variants of Brezza feature similar grille. The headlights are projector based with halogen lights and indicators. Fog lamps are missing in this variant but the housing is given. The car drives on 16-inch steel rims. The indicators are integrated into the ORVMs. A black colored cladding runs all around the car to give it that bold and muscular look.

The taillights are LED with halogen indicators and reverse light. Regarding the amenities, this variant offers four parking sensors, a shark fin antenna, and a defogger. Necessary features such as a rear wiper with a washer and reverse parking camera are missing in this trim.

After covering the exterior, the host talks about the boot space which is completely taken up by the CNG tank. The CNG tank installed in Brezza has a capacity of 55 liters, which can accommodate around 7 to 8 kg of gas.

Now, let’s talk about the interiors of the car. Being a budget segment car, it does not feature soft touch materials. The entire interior is finished in an all-black theme with basic features such as all four power windows, steering mounted multimedia controls, height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs, 7-inch infotainment system, auto AC and an ana-digital instrument cluster.  After that, the host talks about the second row. He mentions that there is enough space for three people to sit comfortably. Amenities in the rear seat include adjustable headrests, armrest and dual AC vents.

The Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 103 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque. However, this same engine delivers a reduced output of 88 hp and 122 Nm of torque in the CNG powertrain. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed Torque Converter Automatic.

The Maruti Brezza prioritizes safety with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminders and multiple other safety features. However, ESP and Hill Hold Assist are missing in some CNG variants.

Maruti has priced the Brezza very strategically, with base Lxi costing just Rs. 8.34 lakhs and top-end ZXI Plus automatic finished in dual tone costing Rs. 14.14 lakhs. The Vxi CNG variant is priced at Rs. 10.64 lakhs, which is Rs. 95,000 more than the regular Vxi. All the prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The CNG powertrain is available in all the variants except the top end Zxi Plus.
