WNBA Finals score and live updates: New York Liberty vs. Minnesota Lynx predictions, odds, how to watch and schedule

Ever since being drafted by the Liberty in 2020, Sabrina Ionescu has been a lightning rod for New York. Her free-flowing style of play is captivating and she has solidified herself as one the best shooters in the league. However, in last year’s WNBA Finals, she struggled tremendously as the Liberty came up short against the Las Vegas Aces.

Game 1 against the Lynx was eerily similar to her Finals performances from last year, finishing with 19 points on shooting 8 of 26 from the field and 3 of 9 from deep. She contributed in other ways, adding five rebounds, three assists and four steals but the Liberty fell just short in the end.

In Game 2, she filled the stat sheet again but was significantly more efficient scoring the basketball. Ionescu finished with 15 points on just nine shots, going 5 of 9 overall and 2 of 5 from 3-point range as the Liberty won comfortably.

Her efficiency will be a theme to monitor as the series progresses.
