Browns QB Deshaun Watson carted off after suffering non-contact leg injury against Bengals

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a non-contact injury late in the first half against the Cincinnati Bengals and was later carted off the field with a towel over his head.

With 1:26 left in the second quarter of the Week 7 game, Watson took a snap then immediately went down and grabbed his leg. Coach Kevin Stefanski and the trainers came out as the team entire team as the cart came out to take the starting quarterback to the locker room.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson entered the game for Watson. Jameis Winston is the team’s emergency quarterback this week after dressing as the backup for the first six weeks.

Watson, 29, is in his third season with Cleveland after signing a five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed deal with the Browns in 2022.
