The exact variant of the Hyundai Venue sub-compact SUV delivered to the Health Department of the Maharashtra Government has not been made clear. However, it appears to be the highly popular Venue S (O) variant. This variant is priced at Rs 9.76 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes equipped with a 1.2-liter Kappa turbocharged petrol engine that pushes out a maximum of 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. On the inside, it gets a digital instrument gauge cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. It misses out on the automatic climate control system and gets a manual air conditioning system instead. It also gets a steering wheel with controls for the infotainment screen and the digital instrument cluster as well. The Venue S (O) also misses out on leather upholstery and gets fabric upholstery instead.
Hyundai Venue now gets ADAS
In other Hyundai Venue news, recently, the company updated this highly popular sub-compact SUV with the coveted ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The company is offering its proprietary Hyundai SmartSense system in the top-of-the-line SX (O) variant. It is also offering the same system on the N8 variant of its popular performance iteration Venue N-Line as well. The list of ADAS features introduced in the new Hyundai Venue includes forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, lane following assist, high beam assist, and leading vehicle departure alert.
The addition of ADAS makes the Venue the fourth model from Hyundai to come equipped with this safety suite of ADAS. The current list of Hyundai vehicles offering ADAS includes the Ioniq 5, Tucson, and the all-new Verna. Alongside the addition of ADAS, Hyundai has also updated the transmission lineup for the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. Hyundai has discontinued the 6-speed iMT and replaced it with the 6-speed manual transmission for the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which is offered in S(O) and SX(O) variants. These variants also come with the option of the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, as before.
