Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Netherlands international Dominique Janssen on a free transfer.
Janssen, 29, joins the club on a three-year deal with the option of an additional 12 months following the expiration of her contract with Wolfsburg.

“Signing here is a really proud moment for me, and I cannot wait to now return to the English league and create new winning moments with this talented Manchester United team.”
United head coach Marc Skinner said: “Dominique is a proven winner, both domestically and internationally.
“Her winning mentality is an important addition to our team, and her notable playing experience will enhance our entire dressing room. We are delighted to welcome Dominique into our Manchester United family.”
The Netherlands defender returns to the Women’s Super League (WSL) having previously spent four seasons at Arsenal.

She made 66 appearances in all competitions for the north London club and won the WSL title and FA Cup before joining Wolfsburg in 2019.
She announced in May she would be leaving the German club when her contract expired on June 30.
Janssen’s arrival follows high-profile departures of goalkeeper Mary Earps and club captain Katie Zelem. Spanish forward Lucia Garcia also left the club following the end of her contract.
United have received criticism in recent weeks amid growing discontent regarding the club’s management of their women’s team.
The Athletic reported last month that the club’s women’s team will be moved out of the £11million training facility in order to make way for the men’s first-team during the 2024-25 season.
