Don’t miss the most anticipated art exhibition in town: Get your tickets now for Artful Minds, an inspiring evening of creativity, community and mental health awareness at NAMI Broward County’s 4th Annual fundraiser on Thursday, May 29, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mad Arts in Dania Beach.
Artful Minds celebrates local artists and performers whose work explores the powerful connection between mental health and artistic expression. The highly curated exhibition is more than just an art event; it’s also a platform for meaningful conversations, healing and advocacy through the power of art.
Featured artists and performers include Adam David, South Florida’s hottest new singer-songwriter and mental health advocate, who performs original music and infuses his signature style into cover songs; Darius Daughtry, the founder and artistic director of the Art Prevails Project and a poet, playwright and educator whose art challenges and inspires change; Lori Arbel, a Florida-born mixed-media artist whose abstract expressionism and digital montage reflect personal introspection; and Galal Ramadan, an internationally recognized colored-pencil artist whose award-winning work has been exhibited globally.
Proceeds from Artful Minds support NAMI Broward County’s vital mental health programs, including peer and family support groups, youth education and mentorship initiatives. In 2024, these programs helped over 9,000 individuals across Broward County, providing education, support and a sense of community for those affected by mental health conditions.
Tickets are $40 (through May 22) and increase to $50 thereafter; purchase them at namibroward.org/artful-minds.
