A car crash in Pune involving a Porsche has been in the news for the last couple of days. Every day, a new development is reported. According to the latest reports, Vishal Agarwal and his son, who was said to be driving the car at the time of the accident, have come forward and claimed that he was not driving the car. According to the statement given by the father and son, the car was actually driven by their family driver. The minor’s friends who were in the car at the time of the crash have also backed this claim.

The accident happened in the early hours of Sunday this week. The 17-year-old son of Vishal Agarwal, a real estate developer, crashed his Porsche Taycan sports car into a bike. The rider and pillion on the bike were killed on the spot. After the accident, the minor was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. However, considering public sentiments, the Pune court canceled the bail yesterday and sent him back to a juvenile center.

After the father and son claimed that their family driver was behind the wheel, the investigating officers decided to question him as well. They have not biought this story completely. The family driver, in his first statement, claimed that he was driving the car when the accident happened.

The missing mobile phone of Vishal Agarwal has been recovered, and the concerned agencies are looking into the matter to recover details related to the accident.

The Pune Crime Branch, which is investigating the matter, has also questioned Surendra Agarwal, the grandfather of the minor, in connection with the case. The investigation agency is questioning him to learn about the conversations they had on the day of the accident to gather more information about the case.

The mother of the 17-year-old, who is currently the accused in this case, has also come forward. She has appealed to the police to protect her son after a video purportedly featuring him boasting about how he got away with the accident has been circulating online. The mother claims that the video circulating on the internet is fake since her son is in the detention center.

A CCTV video of the accident is available online. In the video, one can see the same Porsche car passing through a narrow road at a very high speed. The car that caused the accident was being driven on the roads of Pune without a registration number plate. The owner of the car had not paid the registration fee to the RTO.

It is said that the car was driven at a speed of 200 km/h on the narrow road. Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, who were working as IT professionals, were killed in this tragic crash. The accident happened at around 2:15 am. It is said that the minor was actually celebrating his 12th-grade results at pubs and bars with his friends.

Along with the minor, the father of the boy and the owners of the bar that served alcohol to the minors have also been arrested. The legal drinking age in Maharashtra is 25. The owners of the pub were also arrested for their role in providing alcohol to the minor, which led to this tragic accident.
