Thunder's Jalen Williams fined $25,000 for profane language on his shirt

The NBA fined Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams $25,000 for wearing a shirt featuring profane language during a postgame media session, the league announced Monday.

Williams wore a shirt to his postgame media availability that read, “F— arts let’s dance” after the Thunder’s 125-93 Game 7 win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.

He scored 24 points with seven assists and five rebounds in the win, helping Oklahoma City advance to the Western Conference finals where it will face the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Thunder previously beat the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs before topping the Nuggets.

Williams, 24, is in his third season with the Thunder. He averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 69 games en route to earning his first All-Star selection. He’s averaging 19.6 points per game in the playoffs.
